Process of Kalamkari Making

The Kalamkari process contains 23 steps. Some of them are dye, bleach, hand-paint, block print, starch, wash, rinse, soak, bleach, mordant, and dye with natural substances such as indigo (blue), madder (red), mango bark. Then they apply (yellow), and palm sugar (black). The whole process is done with complete focus and one needs to look at the details.
