The permanence and instability of the dyes used in any fabric aren’t guaranteed. All block printed materials get affected by direct sunlight and change colour or fade over time. However, this is a sign that natural dyes have been used in the making.

How do I stop my prints from fading?

The best barrier to direct light is a fixative spray. These sprays act as a protective layer over your clothes and contain chemicals to counter the UV rays. You can also extend the longevity of your prints’ life by washing them properly according to the instructions given by the manufacturer.
