Material
Traditional pattachitra rakhi is handpainted by the family of Laltu Chitrakar in Midnapore, West Bengal. The base is wood, painted using acrylic colours. The motifs illustrate mythological stories and folktales in fine, detailed linework, finished with traditional threadwork. Lightweight yet durable, it makes a thoughtful choice for celebrating raksha bandhan. After the festival, the rakhi can be reused as a keychain, allowing it to be cherished as a meaningful keepsake long after the occasion.
