Kalamkari hand block print cotton fabric is created using one of the earliest and most intricate printing techniques. Kalamkari is an ancient art form believed to be around 3,000 years old. Crafted by skilled artisans who use hand-carved wooden blocks dipped in natural dyes to create traditional kalamkari patterns, this fabric reflects a rich artistic legacy. It is suitable for sarees, suits, dupattas, kurtas, dresses and stoles.
A Note on Handmade Beauty: Each piece is hand block printed and dyed using natural colors over a slow process of 15–20 days. As a result, you may notice slight variations in color, mild pigment smudges, or irregular dye patterns, these are not defects. They’re gentle marks of authenticity, proudly bearing the touch of human hands, heritage, and nature’s own palette. Wear them like a signature, because no two pieces are ever alike.
Care
Gentle hand wash separately in cold water with mild/liquid detergents, excess natural colours may bleed when washed for the first time. Avoid soaking for too long.
