Kurta must be 2 inches below the knee. Sleeves should not be too short or too long - the ideal length is just below or slightly below the wrist. Wear silk in winter and mulmul, cotton and cotton-silk in summer.
Get the kurta look by adding a modern twist of skinny jeans or chinos, white sneakers or leather sandals to matching bottoms and a watch. You can even remove sunglasses or wide-framed glasses with this look.
