They belong to the traditional Patwa family who have been doing the Patwa craft for the last five generations. The whole family has been practicing this unique work for more than 80 years. Patwa is done with a special knotting and wrapping technique with thread. In this technique, the craftsmen use multiple silk threads of various colors and entwine them together.
