Sufiyan Ismail Khatri uses traditional Ajrakh crafts to create hand-printed and naturally-dyed fabrics such as scarves, shawls, rugs, and tablecloths. Ajrakh's craft is over 4000 years old. Some traditional textiles have been found in the ruins of the city of Fostat in Egypt. Khatri comes from the Khatri community. Khatri means printer and the community is made up of artisans who do Ajrakh printing and natural dyeing. His ancestors practiced this technique on the banks of the Indus River in Sindh. For them, the ajrakh is a way of life and a means of learning. A unique feature of Ajrakh is a resist printing technique that uses gum arabic and lime paste on hand-carved blocks of wood, as well as the skillful use of wood stains and natural dyes to create natural gem-like shades that retain color.

For those of you using a 44-inch wide fabric, this guide suggests measurements for a standard L Size. Think of this as your starting point. If you're working with different sizes or fabric widths, just adjust up or down accordingly. Hope this helps!
When it comes to how much fabric you'll need, it really depends on the design. We'd recommend having a chat with your designer or tailor before you order, just to be on the safe side.
I'm really happy with my order!

and I also received a very nice personally note in my packet
The fabric is so soft and pure cotton. The color is so beautiful as shown in the picture. Received an additional beutiful scrunchie as gift. Thanks for this. Will buy more fabric from itokri in future..
I ordered a number of clothing items and kolhapuri chappals. I am very happy with the quality of the items and the service provided by the team for the order was very professional. I will be going back to itokri for more purchases. Thank you.
I am not reluctant to recomment iTokri on the basis of my experience. My order was shipped very carefully to UAE and I did receive it in good condition. Personal care was taken by the people at iTokri and this is my second order and experience with iTokri.
I am glad.
If the seams are sticking out, uneven, or appearing to be stitched multiple times, the quality is poor. You can also remove the fabric from both sides of the seam and peel it off a bit. If the fabric peels off the seam, it is most likely that the seam is very weak and not sewn well.
Due to its ultra-fine fibres, synthetic microfibre is the fabric that lasts the longest at this time. Its fibres are tightly woven which creates a strong layer of protection.
Naturally woven or knitted cotton fabrics are very comfortable and are one of the best fabrics for making garments. Breathable fabric that keeps you cool even at high temperatures. The best thing about sewing cotton is that it's easy.
Clothing made from cotton and its blends is the most common fabric loved by people all over the world. Cotton suits are very popular in India due to the long summer and the variety of fabrics. From casual to formal, cotton clothing is a must for everyone.
