Sabala Handicrafts is a volunteer organization dedicated to empowering women and children. Founded in 1996, the organization has successfully rehabilitated widows, the poor, tribal and economically disadvantaged women. Sabala Handicrafts has long been working to revive traditional Lambani (tribal communities) and Kasuti crafts. Sabala currently operates in 3 Taluks in the Bijapur Region, including 40 villages and 9 Tandas. These organizations offer women the opportunity to acquire skills and apply these skills in productive and income-generating activities. We provide professional training for independent work such as patchwork, mirror embroidery, woodcut, tie and paint, and kasuti embroidery.
