    Material
Fine quality pure handwoven dhakai muslin cotton jamdani stole practised in the Bardhaman (P.O. Kalna) of West Bengal. Jamdani is woven in several parts in india. The most famous of these places are in West Bengal especially Kalna, Tangail. Jyotish Debnath and Rajib Debnath from kalna are well known names in the fields of jamdani. Identified by its unique geometric and floral patterns woven into fine cotton, Debnath and his workers weave the most breathtaking forms of Jamdani onto muslin, a few counts higher than the original fabric. Today, Debnath and his artisans make the muslin from scratch, and the charkha is made in-house as well.

For those of you using a 44-inch wide fabric, this guide suggests measurements for a standard L Size. Think of this as your starting point. If you're working with different sizes or fabric widths, just adjust up or down accordingly. Hope this helps!

When it comes to how much fabric you'll need, it really depends on the design. We'd recommend having a chat with your designer or tailor before you order, just to be on the safe side.
