Manjuri's Dream Project Kritenya started in May 2010. She encourages Assam weavers to develop new designs inspired by their creations and ssuggestsminor design variations when needed. Weavers are mostly women who support their families with income from weaving. She designs and creates bags and other accessories using these handmade fabrics made with special weaving. They believe that their craft is sustainable enough to not only remind us of the pas, but also serve as a basis for moving into the future.
