Products SoldSabir Kumbhar, the eldest son of Abdulkarim Kumbhar and Julu bai, has been learning pottery from his father for 2 years. He learned how to make kodiya (earth lamp) and phirni (shallow glass to serve seviyan) and helped Abdulkarim Bhai complete orders after school. He also takes care of the ingredients and helps with the cooking of the oven. In a small village called Khavda in Kutch, Abdul Kumbhar and his family worked to perpetuate the dying craft of Khavda Pottery. Beautifully decorated with hand-painted designs in red, black and white clay paint, Abdul Bhai's pottery is sure to attract attention.
