Craftizen Foundation is dedicated to providing sustainable, craft-based livelihoods for marginalized communities, ensuring economic empowerment for those who lack access to mainstream jobs. Their skill training programs uplift adults with intellectual disabilities, underprivileged women, inmates at Bangalore Central Prison, and traditional artisans. Operating across 10 states, they have positively impacted over 4,600 individuals. With a strong emphasis on innovation, they work with 30 different craft forms, from hand embroidery and wooden toy making to upcycling temple flowers and paper waste, creating over 250 unique designs. Their initiatives also include customized corporate gifting and employee engagement workshops, further supporting dignified artisan livelihoods. By blending tradition with modern utility, Craftizen ensures that heritage crafts remain relevant, functional, and sustainable in today’s world.
