Artisans cut fabric into leaf, flower, and geometric shapes, pin them onto base cloth, and stitch them down with strong thread. Mirrors are attached using buttonhole stitching. The layered fabric creates a three-dimensional surface.

Hand-cut fabric pieces naturally have slight edge variations. Some styles intentionally leave raw edges as part of the aesthetic. This is a craft feature, not a finishing flaw.

Our artisans use strong thread and secure stitching. With gentle washing and normal use, the applique holds up well for years. Avoid harsh scrubbing on decorated areas.

Hand wash in cold water. Turn inside out before washing. Do not wring. press water out gently. Dry flat in shade. Iron on the reverse side if needed.
