Copper-coated bell bird chimes. The art of making copper bells is practiced by the Luhar community (traditional ironsmiths) in the Kutch region of Gujarat. Scrap iron sheets are heated and hammered into shape, then coated with copper bits and fired in a furnace. Once cooled, a wooden piece is attached inside the bell as a ringer, giving it its unique sound. The rugged, raw look of these finished bells feels truly nostalgic, making them a lovely choice for decor or gifting.
