Materials vary. natural grass, bamboo, cane, jute, metal, terracotta, or wood. The product page lists the exact material. Each has a different weight, texture, and durability.

Wipe with a dry cloth regularly. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking natural fibre tissue boxes in water. it weakens the weave over time.

Metal and ceramic tissue box covers handle bathroom moisture. Wooden or fabric-covered versions are for dry rooms. Wipe clean occasionally. Most fit standard tissue box sizes.

Mashru weaving originated to solve a religious requirement. The outside surface is silk (for shine) while the inside is cotton (touching skin). Certain communities prohibit silk against skin, so Mashru provides the look of silk with a cotton lining.

Weavers use a satin weave structure with silk warp on the face and cotton weft on the reverse. The two layers are woven simultaneously on pit looms. The result is a fabric with silk sheen outside and cotton comfort inside.

Handloom fabric has a slightly uneven texture when you run your fingers along it. The selvedge edges look different from machine-woven ones. The weave carries a softness that powerlooms cannot replicate.

A human hand operates the loom. Thread tension, shuttle speed, and pedal pressure vary naturally. These small irregularities are proof of handloom origin. not defects.

Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent for the first few washes. Avoid wringing. gently squeeze and dry flat in shade. The fabric softens beautifully with each wash.
