Central asian cotton pochampally ikat fabric, made in Koyyalagudem village by artisan Edem Chandana, celebrates a tradition passed down through four generations. Part of the renowned pochampally ikat tie-dye legacy, the yarns are carefully tied and dyed before weaving to create striking patterns. The fabric beautifully blends weaving techniques with Central Asian design influences, echoing the bold, symmetrical motifs seen in classic Uzbekistan ikats. It can be used for both clothing and home decor.
Note : This piece carries tiny knots, thread pulls or uneven lines not flaws, but fingerprints. Every irregularity is a whisper from the hands that made it.
