Our sarees are typically 5.5 metres long with a 0.8-metre blouse piece. Some come at 6.3 metres without a separate blouse piece. Check the product page for exact measurements.

Most of our sarees include an unstitched blouse piece. The product page clearly mentions if one is included. If it says 'without blouse,' only the saree is shipped.

Barmer Applique comes from Barmer district in Rajasthan's Thar Desert. Artisans cut bold, colorful fabric shapes and stitch them onto base cloth. The style uses larger patches and brighter colors compared to Kutch applique.
Is this machine-stitched or done by hand?
Artisans cut fabric into motifs, layer them on a contrasting base cloth, and stitch them securely. Borders are often finished with piping or zigzag stitching. Mirror pieces and embroidery are added as accents.
Why do the fabric patches have raw or uneven edges?
Hand-cut fabric pieces naturally have slight edge variations. Some styles intentionally leave raw edges as part of the aesthetic. This is a craft feature, not a finishing flaw.
Will the stitching hold up with regular use?
Our artisans use strong thread and secure stitching. With gentle washing and normal use, the applique holds up well for years. Avoid harsh scrubbing on decorated areas.

Voile is one of the most durable natural fabrics. It holds up well to regular washing and daily wear. Handloom voile often outlasts its machine-made counterparts.

Handloom Voile has a distinct texture. slightly uneven, with a softer hand-feel. It's woven on manual looms with natural yarn tension. Mul cotton is uniform but lacks that organic character.
