Fine quality beige bagh block printed modal silk 3pc suit material set, made using traditional process of hand block printing by Umar Faruk Khatri practiced in Bagh, the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh.
Modal silk is a soft, shiny and highly lustrous fabric, achieved through interlacing modal fibers and silk yarns. it has opulence of silk and the comfort of cotton modal is a fine and soft textured weave.

What is included in a dress material set?
A dress material set typically includes an unstitched top (kurta) piece, a bottom piece, and a dupatta. Some are two-piece sets without the dupatta. The product page lists exactly what's included.
How much fabric comes in each piece?
The kurta piece is usually 2.5 metres, the bottom piece around 2.5 metres, and the dupatta about 2.25 metres. Exact measurements vary by set and are mentioned on the product page.
Can I get this stitched into any style I want?
Yes. Since the set is unstitched, your tailor can stitch it into any silhouette you prefer. Straight cut, A-line, anarkali, or any design. Share a reference with your tailor for best results.
Do the pieces in the set match each other?

What is Bagh printing?
Bagh printing comes from the town of Bagh in Madhya Pradesh, near the Bagh river. It uses only natural red and black dyes on cotton. The Khatri families here have a GI-tagged tradition going back centuries.
How is Bagh printing done?
Fabric is soaked in castor oil and goat dung, then washed in the Bagh river. Carved teak blocks stamp alizarin red and iron-black dyes. After printing, the fabric is boiled in dhawda flower solution to fix colors.
How can I tell if my Bagh product is genuinely block printed?
Look for slight irregularities in the pattern. block prints are never perfectly symmetrical. The reverse side shows faint ink marks. These small imperfections confirm it's hand-stamped, not machine-made.
Why do Bagh prints look slightly different from each other?
Each impression is placed by hand. Block pressure, ink amount, and fabric texture create natural variations. Two pieces from the same batch will look similar but never identical.
How should I wash Bagh printed products?
First wash in cold water with a pinch of salt to set the dye. Always hand wash or gentle machine cycle. Dry in shade. direct sun can shift natural dye colors over time.
What does Modal Silk feel like?
Modal silk is exceptionally soft . softer than cotton by touch. It feels smooth, stretchy, and cool. The beechwood-derived fibre blends with silk for a fluid, comfortable drape.
How do I wash Modal Silk products?
Dry clean is safest for Modal Silk. If hand washing, use cold water and a mild silk-specific detergent. Never wring. Roll in a towel to absorb moisture, then dry flat in shade.
Is Modal Silk suitable for summer or winter?
Modal Silk works across seasons. It feels cool in summer and retains warmth in winter. The natural temperature regulation of silk makes it comfortable year-round in Indian climates.
How durable is Modal Silk?
