A human hand operates the loom. Thread tension, shuttle speed, and pedal pressure vary naturally. These small irregularities are proof of handloom origin. not defects.

Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent for the first few washes. Avoid wringing. gently squeeze and dry flat in shade. The fabric softens beautifully with each wash.
What does Woolens feel like?
Woolens feel warm, springy, and insulating. Natural wool has a slight crimp you can feel . tiny waves in each fibre that trap air. Handwoven woolens have extra body and texture.
How do I wash Woolens products?
Hand wash in cold water with mild wool detergent. Do not twist or wring. Lay flat on a towel to dry. Dry cleaning is recommended for heavily embroidered woolens pieces.
Is Woolens suitable only for winter?
Primarily, yes. Woolens works best in cool and cold weather. Lighter woolens pieces can work in air-conditioned indoor settings. It's not suitable for peak summer use.
How do I store Woolens products in off-season?
Clean before storing. Fold and place in a breathable cotton bag. Add neem leaves or naphthalene to prevent moths. Store in a dry, dark cupboard. Check every few months.
Does Woolens pill or shed?
Some pilling is normal with wool and wool-blend fabrics in early use. Gently remove pills with a fabric shaver. After the initial period, the surface stabilizes and pilling reduces.
