Material
This pink stole is made from fine himalayan pashmina wool, handspun and handwoven with care. It feels warm, soft and comfortable on the skin. The Azo-free dyed finish gives it a clean, refined look. A cosy layer that adds subtle elegance to everyday wear.
Pashmina comes from the Persian word pashmineh, which means made from Pashm or wool in Persian. The wool for Pashmina weaving comes from a distinct breed of goats which are found at an altitude of above 14000 feet in the plateau of Changthan in Ladkah. The goats get their name from the region and are locally known as Changthangi and the wool produced by these goats is called Pashmina. Pashmina fibres are fine and thin, 12-15 microns, ideal for making light weight apparel like fine scarves and shawls. Typically, a goat produces 250- 300 grams of Pashmina per season, comprising 60% fibre and 40% hair. This wool is collected every spring and cleaned before the goat grows a new coat each winter. Pashmina yarn is very fragile and that is why pure pashmina can only be woven with delicate hands on handloom. Weaving is done with a shuttle, carrying the soft Pashmina yarn through the fine yet strong warp. The weaving process is an art that is passed down over generations. It takes about a week to weave a single Pashmina stole.
Note : This piece carries tiny knots, thread pulls or uneven lines not flaws but fingerprints. Every irregularity is a whisper from the hands that made it. It’s what happens when tradition weaves through time, not machines. If you’re looking for perfection, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for soul you’ve found it.
Care
Pashmina needs to be kept away from chemicals as much as possible hence it does not necessarily need dry cleaning. It needs to protected from moisture and sweat as much as possible. Careful storage with regular airing in mild sunlight is recommended. Good care ensures legendary longevity of these heirloom pieces.

In business attire, you have fewer options for wearing a cape or scarf. But when it comes to casual wear, there are plenty of ways to wear a steal. You can tie it up, pleat or just let it flow on its own.
Most scarves are designed to be worn around the head or neck, but stoles are not. A stole is a longer piece of fabric, usually rectangular or square, but sometimes triangular. A stole is usually longer than a shawl. It is light and can be used in various scenes.
Choose the right stole It should be long enough to be draped across your neck and broad enough to experiment with stylistic drapery.
A stole is a woman's long shawl worn loosely over the shoulders while a scarf is simply a length of fabric we wear around the neck or head.
Elegant hand-crafted silk-cotton stoles that can be paired with ethnic and western clothes for a office & festive look
