The Dabu process begins with preparing a thick natural mud paste, applied with hand-carved wooden blocks in precise patterns. The stole is sun dried, immersed in natural dyes, and thoroughly washed to reveal beautiful distinct patterns. Made for cold weather, it combines warmth with traditional artistry, suitable for both casual and formal wear.

Each piece is hand block printed and dyed using natural colors over a slow process of 15–20 days. As a result, you may notice slight variations in color, mild pigment smudges, or irregular dye patterns, these are not defects. The printer applies a mud resist paste (dabu) made from clay, gum, and lime onto fabric. After drying, the fabric is dyed. Where the paste sits, the fabric stays undyed. This resist-dye cycle repeats for each color layer.
