These bed cover are filled with cotton inside. These bed cover are reversible & can be used from both sides. The bed cover is reversible which makes it more useful and can be used anywhere in the house be it as a bedspread, throw, quilt, sofa cover, etc.

Ajrakh Block Printing
Ajrakh is a well-known traditional vegetable dyeing that resists block-printing techniques on cloth. Originated in Kutch, It is nearly around 4,500 years old practised by Khatri community of Kutch and Sikh.
Banni handicraft is rooted in Hodko village, Banni region of Kutch, Gujarat, founded by Ramji Devraj Gordiya, known locally as Ramu Bhai, from the Meghwal community, carrying a craft tradition across five to six generations. Ramu Bhai never had access to a school. He cannot read or write. At 9 he began working to support his family. At 12 he made his first quilt. He travelled the Banni region studying old textiles from memory, and spent days in Bhuj studying craft books picture by picture. That curiosity brought him to Ajrakh print using natural dyes, today the heart of his production. Today, 300 artisans work with Banni Handicraft, producing hand-stitched product. After participating in the Santa Fe Folk Art Market, he upgraded materials and improved team wages. His daughter Mula, the first in the family to study, handles accounts and travels with him on marketing trips.

Cotton quilts can go in a gentle machine cycle after the first hand wash. Silk or embroidered pieces need hand washing only. Cold water is best for all types.

Is the filling natural or synthetic?

Does the color match the photos?
Quilts are photographed in natural light. Handmade dyes may vary slightly from batch to batch. Front and back colours can differ. The listing images show both sides when applicable.
What is Ajrakh printing?
Ajrakh is a resist-printing craft from Kutch, Gujarat. It uses indigo and madder root dyes in a 16-step process. The Khatri community has practiced it for over 400 years. It holds a GI tag.
How is Ajrakh printing done?
The fabric goes through repeated rounds of resist application, dyeing, washing, and sun-drying. Artisans use carved teak blocks and a mud-lime resist paste. A single piece takes up to two weeks to complete.
How can I tell if my Ajrakh product is genuinely block printed?
Look for slight irregularities in the pattern. block prints are never perfectly symmetrical. The reverse side shows faint ink marks. These small imperfections confirm it's hand-stamped, not machine-made.
Why do Ajrakh prints look slightly different from each other?
Each impression is placed by hand. Block pressure, ink amount, and fabric texture create natural variations. Two pieces from the same batch will look similar but never identical.
How should I wash Ajrakh printed products?
First wash in cold water. Always hand wash or gentle machine cycle. Dry in shade. direct sun can shift natural dye colors over time.
What does Mashru Silk feel like?
Mashru has a satin-smooth silk face and a soft cotton back. It feels cool against skin thanks to the cotton lining. The dual texture gives it a distinct, comfortable weight.
How do I wash Mashru Silk products?
Dry clean is safest for Mashru Silk. If hand washing, use cold water and a mild silk-specific detergent. Never wring. Roll in a towel to absorb moisture, then dry flat in shade.
Is Mashru Silk suitable for summer or winter?
