For those of you using a 44-inch wide fabric, this guide suggests measurements for a standard L Size. Think of this as your starting point. If you're working with different sizes or fabric widths, just adjust up or down accordingly. Hope this helps!
When it comes to how much fabric you'll need, it really depends on the design. We'd recommend having a chat with your designer or tailor before you order, just to be on the safe side.

Things to keep in mind when shopping for children's clothing:
Fabric is the most important. Kids are happy outside when they are comfortable wearing them.
Clothing size.
Quality and durability.
Opinions of children.
Fashion.
Value for money.
Fabric selection, openings and closures, fit and lightness, and finishes used are all key factors to consider when designing children's clothing.
Kids loved to wear whatever their parents chose. But now every child wants to wear fashionable clothes. They want to stand out, feel comfortable and confident. They want to wear what they like, and even wear what they like.
