Does this come with the insert or just the cover?
Our cushion covers are sold as covers only. no insert included. Standard cushion inserts from any home store will fit. The product page lists the exact cover dimensions.
What size options are available?
We offer cushion covers in 16x16, 18x18, and 20x20 inches typically. Some come in rectangular sizes too. Check the product page for the exact size before ordering.
Does it have a zip closure?
Most of our cushion covers come with a concealed zip on one side for easy insert removal. Some have envelope-style backs. The closure type is mentioned in the description.
Can I wash the cover in a machine?
Cotton covers can go in a gentle machine cycle. Embroidered, silk, or beaded covers need careful hand washing. Turn inside out before washing to protect the surface design.
Will the colors look the same on both sides?
Most printed cushion covers show the design on one side with a coordinating or plain reverse. Woven covers may show a mirror pattern on both sides. Check the listing images for details.
What is Quilted Applique?
Quilted Applique combines quilting (layering and stitching fabric for warmth) with applique (stitching decorative patches on top). The result is a functional textile that provides insulation while looking decoratively rich.
Is this machine-stitched or done by hand?
Artisans layer a top cloth, cotton batting, and a backing cloth. Decorative fabric patches are stitched onto the top surface. Then the three layers are quilted together with running stitches. The result is warm and decorative.
Why do the fabric patches have raw or uneven edges?
Hand-cut fabric pieces naturally have slight edge variations. Some styles intentionally leave raw edges as part of the aesthetic. This is a craft feature, not a finishing flaw.
Will the stitching hold up with regular use?
Our artisans use strong thread and secure stitching. With gentle washing and normal use, the applique holds up well for years. Avoid harsh scrubbing on decorated areas.
How do I wash Quilted Applique products?
Hand wash in cold water. Turn inside out before washing. Do not wring. Press water out gently. Dry flat in shade. Iron on the reverse side if needed.
