More than 200 artisans of this village are involved with this craft. Dharmendra Sutradhar is one of them. Dharmendra Sutradhar, 33, started making masks when he was 10 years old. He inherited the cultural heritage of this craft from his father, late Gopal Chandra Sutradhar. Like many other artisans of this village, Dharmendra has also adopted the style of chhau dance being son of this soil. Masks made by him have been displayed in various national and international arenas with high esteem.
