Fine quality blue pipad hand block printed mulberry silk-cotton handloom precut fabric. This fabric is made from mulberry silk and cotton blend and dyed using natural dyes through a traditional mud resist process by Chhipa Azhar practiced in Pipar, Rajasthan. This material is produced sustainably on an organic mulberry plantation. There are no chemicals used. The cocoons are hand reared, handspun, and hand-woven. The warp is double taani, and the weft is double bharni. The loom is a pit loom. The plantation is in Katihar, Bihar; handspun in Malda; and handwoven in Margram.

Each impression is placed by hand. Block pressure, ink amount, and fabric texture create natural variations. Two pieces from the same batch will look similar but never identical.
