Namrata Primary Women's Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association is an organization established with the aim of empowering tribal women in Udaipur and surrounding areas by giving them the opportunity to earn a living by training the ability to make high-quality handicrafts, with an emphasis on embroidery. Namrata Primary School Women's Multi-Purpose Partnership operates under the leadership of Rajasthani Vanvasi Kalyan Parishad. The cooperative was founded by 5 women in 2015 with the aim of enhancing the socioeconomic status of women living in the tribal belt around Udaipur (Jhadol, Kherwara, Dungarpur, Gogunda) through indigenous art on their land. She now has a network of over 200 active women who run a collective business around needlework and hand embroidery.
