Jan Sandesh is an NGO or non-profit organization that aims to provide appropriate education, employment, and honor to women and girls in need. NGOs in northeastern Delhi primarily take care of the wives of surrounding bereaved families who have emigrated locally or from various states of the country. New Seamapuri is basically classified as a slum in a city with many rural residents, with men being the main earners of the family and women working part-time somewhere indoors. Jan Sandesh allows these women to work for NGOs and earn some income by making small things such as crafts from waste using paper clippings, plastic bags, scrap materials, newspapers, etc.
