What do you do with an oxidised necklace?
Mix 2 parts baking soda and 1 part water to make a paste, then gently rub the mixture onto your jewellery. Allow the paste to dry completely to remove discoloration. Clean and dry with a soft cloth or microfiber cloth. A similar method can be used with cornstarch.

Does an oxidised silver necklace wear off?
Yes, oxidised silver will wear out over time. This is a natural result of everyday wear and tear and is practically unavoidable. Although you can fix this problem at home, we recommend that you consult a jeweller instead to avoid making mistakes that could damage your jewellery.
How do you clean an oxidized necklace?
Mix 1 tablespoon of salt with 1 tablespoon of baking soda and mix with a glass of warm water. Pour into a bowl. The mixture will chemically react with the foil, creating bubbles as you clean your jewellery. Rinse with cold water and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
